Create a Story
Creating an animated cartoon video begins with crafting a compelling story. If you already have a script, you can skip this step. If not, you can use GravityWrite. This tool is specifically designed for creating scripts for kids' videos.

Generate the Voiceover

- Click 'Generate'
Download the generated voiceover files and name them properly to keep everything organized. Repeat this process for all the dialogues of each character.
Generate Cartoon Characters
Creating cartoon characters does not require any animation skills. We will use an AI tool to generate the characters. Select the character images that fit your story and adjust their background to green for easy removal later.
Next, upload the generated voiceover files to the AI tool to convert character images into animated videos.

Repeat this for all characters and dialogues, and save the animated videos.
Create Animated Background
To create an animated background, we will use Canva. This tool allows you to design the background scene described in your script. Increase the duration of the background if needed and search for elements that suit your story.
Set the selected image as the background and make it lively by adding animated elements.

You can also create custom animations by selecting an element, moving it as desired, and adjusting the speed. Download each background separately for easy editing later.
Edit the Final Video
Now, it's time to put everything together using an online editing tool like Capcut. Upload all animated character videos and backgrounds to the tool.
Start by placing the first character video on the background and removing the green screen:
- Drag and drop the character video onto the background
- Select 'Remove Background'
- Adjust the position in the frame
Repeat this process for all characters and dialogues. If a character needs to react without speaking, use an empty audio file to animate the character without dialogue.
Add Sound Effects and Transitions
To make the video sound more natural, add sound effects like birds chirping. Search for the desired sound effect, drag and drop it into the timeline, and adjust the volume.
For transitions between scenes, select transition effects and place them between clips. This will make your video smoother and more engaging.
Edit the Captions
Adding subtitles can make your video more accessible. Use the 'Auto Captions' feature to generate captions automatically. Customize the font style, add animations, and adjust the position of the subtitles as needed.
Download Your Edited Video
After finalizing all edits, download the video in the highest resolution. Give your video a name and export it.
